Dow, leading supplier of silicone-based materials, has introduced the DOWSIL CC-8000 Series UV and Dual Moisture Cure Conformal Coatings. Available in three different formulations, these silicone coatings span from low-to-high viscosities and provide strong protection for electronic components.

Features and Benefits of Dow CC-8000 Series:

The DOWSIL CC-8000 series cures on demand with broad spectrum UV or LED light and also offers a secondary moisture cure for shadowed areas. These fast-curing properties allow for a high production throughput as well as reduced energy costs when compared to heat-curing materials and quicker processing times compared to room-temperature curing materials.

Manufactured without added solvents, the one-part, translucent conformal coatings offer excellent contamination and environmental protection, even in humid conditions. They also provide stress relief and superior flame retardancy. With flexible working times to accommodate different production processes, these versatile coatings ensure strong adhesion to a wide range of substrates.

The CV-800 series includes three different conformal coatings, each offering varying viscosities and application methods. This allows manufacturers to select the option best suited to their manufacturing requirements.

Ellsworth Adhesives Europe are pleased to introduce the new Fisnar DC50 Max Precision Dispenser to their extensive dispensing portfolio.

The Fisnar DC50 MAX is based on their popular DC50 dispense controller, but with added enhancements. The user-friendly machine functions, controls, and two-mode machine operation found in the DC50 have been retained in the DC50 MAX. This simplified programming enables a dispense cycle to be created and displayed within minutes, regardless of user experience level.

The systems precision regulator and 0-100 psi digital pressure gauge provide precise flow control and repeatability when dispensing both low and high viscosity materials. Additionally, the adjustable vacuum suck-back control prevents fluid dripping from the dispense tip to ensure a clean application.

In conjunction with the launch of the DC50 MAX, Fisnar have also introduced their new FSX syringe stand which is included with the system as standard.

Featuring an improved design, the stand provides better storage of the syringe barrel when not in use. This protects the dispense tip from accidental damage as well as capturing any fluid which may drip. The storage bottle also helps protect the tip from foreign contaminants and environmental lighting that may affect the properties of the fluid inside.

The convenient built-in trays allow for a small amount of fluid material to be purged into a clean and contained location. This is particularly helpful when checking for accurate fluid material flow or when a new dispense tip is attached.

New to the Ellsworth Adhesives portfolio, DOWSIL TC-5150 thermally conductive gap filler is designed to protect and enhance electronic components.

DOWSIL TC-5150 is a one-part non-curable gap filler with 5 W/mK thermal conductivity. The high-performance product has been developed to dissipate heat from electronics to a heat sink, providing a reliable cooling solution for a variety of applications. This thereby provides protection to the electronic device as well as increasing the operations efficiency.

Like other Dow thermally conductive products, TC-5150 is made with silicone materials heavily filled with heat conductive metal oxides. This combination provides high thermal conductivity and high temperature stability. Additionally, the product eliminates mixing and curing requirements for increased productivity and reduced energy consumption. It also allows re-work to be performed in the component.

DOWSIL TC-5150 has excellent balanced properties of dispensability, low volatile content, and vertical hold stability. These properties make the versatile gap-filler suitable for a host of thermal management applications.

Ellsworth Adhesives Ltd would like to inform you that effective 1^st May 2023, we will be changing the operating hours at our UK office. Our new business hours will be 8.15am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.15am to 1pm on Friday.

We are extending our opening hours Monday to Thursday to allow our team to enjoy a half day every Friday. As an employer, we are confident we will see an increase in efficiency, productivity, and focus as our employees will benefit from a healthy work-life balance.

Our warehouse operating hours will also be adjusted to suit this new work pattern. The new opening times for collections and deliveries will be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 12.30pm Friday. All dispatches on a Friday will be subject to parcel size and carrier.
