Back in 2016, Dow Corning was purchased by the Dow Chemical Company, and since then work has been ongoing to integrate Dow Corning’s business into the broader structure of its new owner.
One of the most significant changes to arise from the takeover, is the change to the Dow Corning brand name. Going forward, the company will be known as DOWSIL™ and the logo will change as below:
To help customers through the re-branding process, Dow has launched a new integration information centre website accessible here.
Within the Integration information centre you will find a sample list of product brand changes, as well as a complete list of existing products and their future product names.
If you currently purchase Dow Corning products from us, we encourage you to visit the Integration Information Centre and have a look at this sample list. This will allow you to familiarize yourself with the pending changes and to understand if and how you may be impacted.
This information centre will serve as an important resource to provide:
- Regular updates
- Easy access to key materials related to the integration activities
- Searchable frequently asked questions
- A communications archive with past customer communications
If you have any questions regarding the Dow Corning re-branding, please do not hesitate to contact us.
