Hot Melt Adhesives
A hot melt adhesive, also known as a hot glue, is the name given to a polymer-based glue which is solid at room temperature and is applied in a molten state. Bonding occurs through loss of heat to the adhesive, during which it will rapidly solidify and gain strength. Hot melt adhesives can be used to bond a variety of substrates, including both porous and non-porous surfaces.
Ellsworth Adhesives is a supplier of hot melt adhesives and applicators manufactured by Henkel Loctite and 3M.
