3M Scotch-Weld Hot Melt Adhesive 3789 is a polyamide adhesive formulated to produce an impact, fuel and oil-resistant bond on plastics, vinyl, wood and other surfaces. 3M manufacture this strong adhesive product using a 100% solids, thermoplastic resin. This hot melt also offers good heat resistance (220°F/104°C) and an open bond time that allows for fit adjustment and positioning.
Use 3M Scotch-Weld Hot Melt Adhesive 3789 for a tough and durable bond in many applications. The adhesive is ideal for many surfaces, including vinyl, wood and plastics. It’s engineered with 100% solids thermoplastic resin and designed to re-melt after bonding if exposed to high enough temperatures. It’s virtually invisible between surfaces therefore a better alternative to mechanical fasteners and sealing tapes.
