Loctite 648 is a low viscosity, high strength retaining compound with high temperature resistance. Designed for the bonding of cylindrical fitting parts, the product is ideal for retention of parts with a clearance or interference fit.
Loctite 648 provides a robust bust curing performance, not only working on active metal but also passive substrates such as stainless steel and plated surfaces. Typical applications include holding fears and sprockets onto gearbox shafts and rotors on electrical motor shafts.
